Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov, an American actress who has been starring in Awkward since 2011 She is most well-known as Sadie Saxton. Tarlov is the eldest of two girls, was raised and born at Manhattan, New York. Tarlov began her professional career when she was 10 years old as Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was very well received by seven grade students. As she got older she took her time at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and then in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. She studied a wide range of styles for acting and earned her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. She also studied at The Atlantic Theater Company and was able to incorporate the writing aspect of her act at her LAByrinth Theater Master Course. Molly swapped her black jacket for a pair of black sunglasses prior to heading off for Los Angeles. The actress quickly found herself a three-word part on iCarly which garnered a lot of interest from parents. In the years since Molly has made a variety of television appearances. Most recently, she was the development of Caitlin's part on Winnie Woodman as well as Savannah Dooley's ABC Family show Huge. Molly believes that she is a good basketball player even though she's actually not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
