Bashar Barakah Jackson (July 20th 1999 - February 19, 2020) popularly referred to as Pop Smoke, was an American singer and songwriter. Pop Smoke was signed by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Pop Smoke gained acclaim for his Brooklyn drill sound following his collaboration together with UK drill producers 808Melo Axl Beats, Yoz Beatz and 808Melo Axl Beats. Welcome to the Party is the title track on the first mixtape Meet the Woo that was released on 19 July 2019. In August 2019, two remixes of Welcome to the Party featuring American rapper Nicki Minaj and British rapper Skepta were released. Pop Smoke dropped his smash single Welcome to the Party in April of this year. This song was the title track on the mixtape he released his debut album Meet the Woo. The track was remixed 2 times, the first time featuring Nicki Minaj and the other with Skepta in August 2019. It was revealed that the track was produced by UK drill-produced music, and will later appear in the entirety of his discography. It is because of the frequent collaborations with 808Melo (a British drill production company). Mpr Flexin, Dior and other tracks are recognized. Following the popularity of Welcome to the Party and others singles like War with Lil Tjay & 100k On a Coupe featuring Calboy he began collaborating on songs. Gatti was a collaboration the artist had with JackBoys, Travis Scott in December 2019, which is the last song on the album.
